Nua has three different sweet's segments: Air – light and airy yogurt sweets, Vita – natural and juicy sweets, Multi-Milk – caramel and milk sweets. I was asked to redesign the existing packaging to distinguish three different sweet's segments from each other, including packaging and wrappers for all SKU and also create a new visual language for the brand, including print and promo materials. The company was established in 1994 and hasn't changed its communications since then. The company intended to redesign their brand identity and push it to the next level of brand experience. The analysis culminated in a re-branding process where the decision was to keep the brand's original concept and story, but using modern approach and fresh story interpretation. My focus on considering all touch points between the company and customers culminated in a project where I intervened the complete visual identity, including logotype, corporate communications, as well as packaging and office navigation elements. By using a beautiful illustrative style complemented with modern and warm typeface, I was able to be consistent with the brand look and feel, allowing the brand to be communicated to the staff and consumers with feelings of belonging and loyalty. My big advantage was that I used to do rockclimbing for several years before. The visual communication strategy challenge was to develop an iconic identity, that the players could feel attached to; similar to the feeling given by a well designed extreme and urban sport events. The visual identity is based on the sketchy-style illustrations, urban colour scheme and stencil typography, that complements the brand identity.
